Land development earthworks is becoming an important part of our service offering with more demand from councils, property owners and developers demanding quality ground preparation works before construction activities begin.

APV Contracting delivers high quality level land development works and infrastructure placement, and provides skilled operators with appropriate experience to work within specified tolerances as required.

We provide a complete range of in-house earthmoving, haulage and finishing plant and equipment for any sized job within regional and remote locations in south west Queensland, Cooper Basin and Eromanga Basin. All plant and equipment are late model and well maintained, suited to land development projects.

Growing up on a regional property, APV Contracting has a long history in dam construction and related channeling and earthmoving activity.

We are experienced in providing earthworks and channeling for the GABSKI bore replacement scheme, utilising our in-house developed plant specifically designed to assist property owners in complying to the requirements of the scheme.

Our expertise is also aligned with earthworks for large scale irrigation systems (lateral and centre pivot irrigation systems) and also channel systems for large scale cotton farm irrigation infrastructure.

Clearing

From clearing property fencelines and boundaries, clearing access ways for construction or powerlines and laying of pipelines to general land clearing for developments or property works, APV Contracting has the plant, equipment and expertise to cover your needs.

APV owners have been clearing land and clearing access ways for over 20 years within Queensland’s south west region. We have well maintained, late model equipment suited to all types of vegetation and terrain. Our equipment includes Dozers and stick rakes, front end loaders and graders.

Vegetation Management

APV Contracting can provide vegetation management services from the initial land clearing and earthworks through to regular vegetation maintenance programs and rehabilitation.

We can provide surveillance for maintenance programs for infrastructure e.g. powerlines / pipelines etc. providing an efficient way to trigger maintenance activity only when it is required. Our position in south west Queensland provides clients with a reliable resource to keep tabs on vegetation growth and required maintenance activity.

Our civil works also includes vegetation management for regional and remote roads in the Cooper Basin and Eromanga Basin regions.
