How do you communicate with landholders?2017-10-04T12:25:07+10:00

APV Contracting is a local business and has a history of relationship with the land and regional landowners within the South West Queensland District. We have built up many strong relationships in the district over the years with landholders. Through understanding their needs with access and stock control we are able to navigate difficult situations with sustainable outcomes. In some cases we are the conduit between the landowner and the project in the early stages. Our indigenous cultural background is also an advantage where it comes to cultural heritage matters on site.

What areas do you service for lease pad construction?2017-10-04T12:37:05+10:00

APV Contracting primary focus is servicing South West Queensland (e.g. Cooper and Eromanga Basins) and is geared up as a remote location specialist for that area, but we will travel as the project requires. We are setup to mobilise quickly and can be on site and self sufficient within tight time frames if required.

APV Contracting has had the privilege of working with a number of oil and gas projects owners over the last 7 years in the Cooper Basin and Eromanga Basin Regions. These include Bridgeport Energy, APA, Bardrill and Oil Wells of Kentucky to name a few.

APV Contracting has been involved in lease pad construction and infrastructure for over 7 years throughout the Cooper Basin and Eromanga Basin. We can construct lease pads, sumps, evaporation pads, camp pads, access roads and manage the vegetation maintenance and rehabilitation process as well.
We have completed works for the oil and gas sector namely Bridgeport Energy and Bardrill.

APV Contracting owns a full range of earthworks plant and equipment to complete any sized lease drill pad development. All of our equipment is late model and fully maintained to strict schedules by our internal mechanical department.
Our remote system includes mobile accommodation and facilities buildings allowing us to be fully self sufficient on any regional or remote project.
We own dozers, rollers, excavators, graders, water trucks, skidsteer, haulage trucks, large capacity floats, sleeping accommodation and living facilities to name a few.
If there is need to ramp up operations, we have access to local quality plant and equipment and tried and tested experienced operators at short notice to accommodate unforeseen situations.

APV Contracting has a large resource pool of material and water sources throughout South west Queensland, the Cooper and Eromanga Basins. Access to these resources are the result of many years of relationship building and local knowledge connections.
Many of our available resources are not accessible to other companies and reinforces the value we provide to our clients.

APV Contracting can provide the following plant and equipment float combination.
> Quad-axle float can take up to a D7 dozer
> Tri-axle dropdeck can take up to a 30 tonne excavator
These can be combined into a road train if required.

APV Contracting own a wide range of equipment for contract haulage and can provide the following wet hire services:

> material haulage via side tippers,

> water haulage via trailer tanks,

> plant and equipment floating via quad-axle float and tri-axle dropdeck and

> general freight via flat top trailer.

Depending on your requirements we can structure combinations into road trains.

APV Contracting provides a wide range of bulk haulage services including project materials, project water supplies, floating project plant and equipment and mining plant, assignment general freight and remote mobilisation transport. Essentially we can provide transport support for any civil, mining or other project especially remote location works.
Our specialty is in remote location haulage, especially throughout South Western Queensland, but can haul and float to any location in Australia.

APV Contracting provides earthworks services to the irrigation farmer in regional Queensland including;
> Field development for construction of lateral irrigation and center pivot irrigation systems
> Channel systems for large scale cotton farm irrigation configurations.

APC Contracting has delivered many successful industrial projects in the south west Queensland region over the years. Example is the Quilpie regional depot and a number of large property farm shed pads.

APV Contracting owns a full complement of earthmoving plant and equipment to complete any remote earthworks projects. APV contracting has been providing regional and remote earthmoving service for over 10 years within the south west Queensland and Cooper / Eromanga Basin region. The owners personal experience extends longer than that working on local properties and on the family farm in the Cunnamulla region. APV have completed a wide range of earthworks projects over that time, covering land clearing through to property developments and major contract works.

APV Contracting provides a full range of earth moving services within regional South West Queensland. Services include general land development works, stick raking, land and fence line clearing, dam construction and related infrastructure works, GABSKI bore drain replacement scheme, vegetation management and specialist irrigation and channel works. We work for regional councils, landowners, project proponents and principal contractors, developers and private projects.

> We have access and local knowledge of remote resources close to remote civil projects e.g. water and gravel where outside contractors would need to travel many Km to access, saving project time and costs.
> We have access to local operators (the good ones) and reliable plant and equipment and supplies if needed, providing local resources quickly and efficiently.
> With an indigenous heritage we understand, respect and have local knowledge of cultural heritage sites and connections within the Cooper Basin.
> We relate to, and can communicate with local land holders where a civil project needs resources or infringes on land, because we are part of the South West Qld community. (in many cases we act as the conduit between the project and landowner.)
> We are a remote civil construction specialist, fully self sufficient, quick to mobilise and highly experienced in local geology and working in harsh conditions.

APV Contracting is located in Quilpie and Cunnamulla Qld. This provides direct access to civil works in Queensland’s South West corner and the greater regions of the Cooper Basin and Eromanga Basin. This takes us through regions and towns like Blackall, Morven, Bollon, Boulia, Birdsville, Strzelecki Crossing, Hungerford, Camerons Corner, Innamincka to name a few. This covers the intersection of states in South Western Queensland, Northern South Australia, Southern Northern Territory and North West New South Wales.

APV Contracting can mobilise very quickly for civil projects. We are not restrained by having to hire plant, equipment or accommodation through 3rd parties. We own a full range of plant and equipment and accommodation to complete most remote projects without 3rd party supply, making us fully self sufficient and nimble when mobilising or de-mobilising. We are located in Quilpie and Cunnamulla South West Qld, so we are already in the region, saving precious project time.

APV Contracting has been operating within the far South West Qld and Cooper / Eromanga Basin region for over 10 years. All of our operators are highly experienced in road construction and road maintenance, with a majority of that time spent in remote locations. Our clients continue to use our services after many years because we deliver high quality civil works and road maintenance outcomes consistently. Our clients include local councils and shires, oil and gas proponents, energy companies, local land owners and private developers.
Types of civil work include – full road construction up to seal ready, remote roads and access roads, gravel sheeting, culverts, flood-ways, grids, road furnishings, drainage and related road building or road maintenance activities.
